Kenya to buy 1,500 tractors #kenya

The government has signed a Sh7 billion agreement with its Brazil counterpart for 1,500 tractors to boost sugar production. Agriculture Secretary Felix Koskei said the tractors will be sold to farmers and county governments at subsidised prices. He was speaking on Saturday at Chemelil and Muhoroni sugar factories while launching subsidised fertilisers. Koskei said the fertiliser will be sold between Sh1,500 and Sh2,000.
