Peasant families get support for agricultural season #angola

Over 28.000 families in Balombo municipality, northeast of
the town of Benguela, have started receiving on Monday
seeds, tools and fertilizer to revitalize the 2014/2015
agricultural year.
According to the Municipal Director of the Agricultural
Development Station, Adelino Francisco Cenza, who was
speaking to Angop, the families are receiving seeds of
maize and potato, as well as fertilizers and animal-drawn
plows, for stimulating production in the municipality.
Adelino Francisco Cenza noted that the distribution of goods
to the families is taking place under the Rural Development
Extension, a programme that will cover other municipalities.
