Bungoma county government will instal Sh11 million
hatcheries at Mabanga agricultural institute.
Agriculture executive Patrick Koyi said the project will
promote poultry farming.
Koyi attended a workshop at Mabanga, Bungoma,
yesterday.
Farmers will now be able to buy readily available chicks
locally at an affordable price, he said.
Koyi said the county government will put up four automatic
weather stations to aid farmers.
