The National Industrial Training Authority has launched its
upgraded floriculture curriculum.
The programme was unveiled by director general of the
National Industrial Training Authority Paul Kosgei at the
KWS Training Institute, Naivasha.
Kosgei urged employers to nominate employees to
undertake the programme. He said NITA is determined to
support its national economic position and its critical global
competitiveness.
Floriculture is Kenya's second foreign exchange earner.
Kosgei said th training can only be conducted at the
employer's premises for a more hands-on approach and
allowing the employees easy access to the training at a
more affordable cost for the employer.
