Agriculture sectorbto collect tons of cultures #angola

At least 233.436 tons of cultures is the figure that
agriculture sector in the central Huambo province expects
to collect during the present agricultural campaign.
This was said to Angop on Tuesday by the provincial
director for Agriculture, Emitério Tiago.
The director reported that the cultures include 171.000 tons
of maize, 56.517 tons of soya, 5.919 tons of beans.
He said that 262.533 peasant families and 384 small
agricultural companies are involved in the campaign and
they counted on the direct and indirect support of the
Provincial Department of Agriculture, in an area of 772.462
hectares.
