New initiative to develop horticulture #egypt

Ayman Abu Hadid announced the launch of an
initiative to develop horticultural crops of high
economic value to improve the income of
farmers in Luxor.
During a popular conference held in Luxor on
Thursday 02/01/2014, Abu-Hadid said that Upper
Egypt is the country's hope for development.
Luxor enjoys a relative advantage regarding
winter crops as it produces the best, he added.
A study is underway to establish a plant for
sorting and packing dates and horticulture crops
in the governorate.
