KENYA IMPORTS FERTILIZER

Star]The government has imported 22,000 metric tones of fertilizers from Saudia Arabia for the long rains planting season to boost food production in the country. NCPB's Cornel Ngelechey says the government will import 100,000 metric tones of subsidized fertilizer this year to assist farmers .
