Again, Three Killed By Cattle Rustlers in Plateau Village

Three persons were on Friday morning killed while four others were injured by cattle rustlers in Nwore village of Langtang North local government of Plateau State. The victims killed by the gunmen were identified as Kahfa Timbong, Tanden Nandang and Yakubu Changtim.. Narrating the incident, an eye witness, Nanpon Miri said, "The incident took place yesterday morning when gunmen suspected to be armed Fulani militia stormed the village and stole over 100 cows grazing on the field." He said, the villagers, in attempt to recover the stolen cow, mobilised and chased the rustlers. In the process, the rustlers shot and killed two of the villagers, injured four others, and abandoned the cows and escaped into the bush. The rustlers killed their third victim in the adjourning village along their escape route.
