Cultivating Egypt's desert

In a firm step aiming at restoring the State's
prestige, Minister of Agriculture and Land
Reclamation Ayman Abou Hadid issued a final
warning to all investors, who own plots of land in
Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, to cultivate the land
otherwise, he would take all the legal measures to
cancel the land's contract and then put it up to
tender.
The minister said that the government would take
all the necessary measures to restore those plots
of land if the investors did not cultivate them.
